Here’s a look at my October Capsule Wardrobe inspired by Dia de los Muertos, Halloween fun, and Rock Concerts (plus plenty of Work from Home looks too!) I’m a WFH mom who likes to mix classics and basics with more edgy, playful clothes. In honor of “Rocktober” I put together a very unique and fun capsule this month with several statement pieces. I always love vintage, thrifted, and boho style. Skulls, leopard print, cartoons, and fine art all play a part in this colorful capsule wardrobe! With only 17 pieces I was amazed how versatile this clothing collection is. I lost count of the outfit combinations shown in this video and there are many more possibilities! I’m all about exploring creativity for happiness, and one way to do that is creating capsule wardrobes that encourage you to use the clothes you already own in new and interesting ways. CAPSULE WARDROBE SUMMER 2023 Travel Capsule Wardrobe

This spring/summer clothing capsule uses 13 clothing items and 3 pairs of shoes to create unlimited outfit combinations! This casual capsule wardrobe makes a great travel capsule or summer vacation wardrobe. Combining classic basics like a denim skirt, chambray shirt and ballet flats with bohemian style maxi dress and peasant blouse, this capsule wardrobe expresses a boho chic vibe but is still extremely versatile. I like to create monthly capsule wardrobes to encourage creativity and push myself to use what I have, wearing things in new combinations. You can shop your own closet for trends and get excited about wearing the clothes you already own!

HOW TO UPDATE WHITE WICKER FURNITURE

Today I’m testing paint colors to find the best way to update those shiny white wicker pieces! Natural wicker and rattan are hugely popular right now- but what can you do with white painted wicker? I’ll show you the best products to create a faux “natural” wicker finish so your pieces can be chic and stylish! I test five different colors of spray paint from Rustoleum and Krylon, purchased at Lowe’s and Home Depot. This is a simple, beginner-friendly DIY that will update old wicker pieces quickly and easily. 

CAPSULE WARDROBE SPRING 2023 Boho Chic Capsule

This capsule wardrobe for Spring combines 13 clothing pieces and 3 pairs of shoes to make more than 57 outfits! Choosing from a limited number of items in your closet fosters creativity and encourages you to wear your old clothes in new, interesting ways. I build a new small capsule each month to keep things fresh. There are so many ways to recombine your closet each month and make it feel like a new wardrobe! Hope this inspires you to shop your closet.

PAINTED FURNITURE WITH GOLD ACCENTS Furniture Painting Techniques for Beginners
