PAINT YOUR BEDROOM WALL: Fun Mural Painting How-To

Hey all you creatives! Today I\’m painting a bedroom accent wall and breaking down the steps so you can do it yourself! My wall is a mandala theme but this technique works well with a flower or abstract/sphere theme too. I used interior latex acrylic paint- you can search Home Depot for the discounted \”Oops\” colors to save some money. Flat, Eggshell or Satin finish works best for this type of mural. CHALKBOARD WALL HAND LETTERING HOW-TO: Accent Wall

In this video I show how to make a DIY calligraphy inspiration wall. This hand lettered chalkboard wall is a fun accent wall for your office, playroom, or craft area. I used chalk so I can change the quote whenever I want, but I blended it with a paintbrush for a softer look on my textured wall. Check out my channel for more hand lettering videos.

In this week\’s video I\’ll discuss tips for selecting which art or craft shows to try when you are just starting out. Whether you are thinking about selling your merchandise at a craft fair, art show, or holiday market there are some questions you should ask. LETTERING IDEAS FOR CALLIGRAPHERS + FREE DOWNLOAD

In this video, I\’m showing several fun ideas for lettering styles. I\’ll paint a chalkboard sign for a bridal shower in modern calligraphy based on a classic italic alphabet, then show three different names to decorate the sign for multiple uses. You\’ll see how to diy a cute sign using paint pens. I like to fill in the downstrokes with a paintbrush because it\’s faster but you don\’t need to paint- you can fill in the spaces with the paint pen! This video is shown at 2x normal speed but you can see it doesn\’t have to take long to make something beautiful and original.
